PK is a 2014 Indian satirical science fiction comedy film. The film
was directed by Rajkumar Hirani, produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod
Chopra, and written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi. The film stars Aamir
Khan in the title role with Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput,
Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, and Sanjay Dutt in supporting roles. It
tells the story of an alien who comes to Earth on a research mission.
He befriends a television journalist and questions religious dogmas
and superstitions.
 
 
The film received positive reviews and emerged as the highest-grossing
Indian film of all time, and ranks as the 70th highest-grossing film
of 2014 worldwide. The film has been regarded as one of the best Hindi
films of 2014 PK was the first Indian film to gross INR7 billion
worldwid. It was also the first Indian film to gross US $ 100 million
(Rs 630 crore) worldwide.

Happy New Year (sometimes abbreviated as HNY) is a 2014 Indian action comedy drama film directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The film has an ensemble cast, which includes Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff. The film was distributed worldwide by Yash Raj Films. The film marked a third collaboration of Khan with the director; they previously worked on <a href="/search?q=Main%20Hoon%20Na">Main Hoon Na</a> (2004) and <a href="/2007/11/om-shanti-om.html">Om Shanti Om</a> (2007), the latter of which also featured Padukone as the female lead. 
 
 
The film was released on Diwali, 24 October 2014 in three different languages: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in around 5000 screens in India, the biggest release for a Hindi film in India. The film received negative reviews from critics, but was a commercial success and ranks among the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences features the film's script in their library. The film is also being remade into Telugu as Merupu.

Haider

Haider is a 2014 Indian crime drama film written, produced and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, and co-written by Basharat Peer. It stars Shahid Kapoor as the titular protagonist, and co-stars Tabu, Shraddha Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon. Irrfan Khan appears in an extended special appearance. The film is both a modern-day adaptation of William Shakespeare's tragedy Hamlet and an adaptation of Basharat Peer's memoir Curfewed Night, set amidst the insurgency-hit Kashmir conflicts of 1995 and civilian disappearances. Haider, a young student and a poet, returns to Kashmir at the peak of the conflict to seek answers about his father's disappearance and ends up being tugged into the politics of the state.

Kick is a 2014 Indian action film produced and directed by Sajid
Nadiadwala under his Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner. It is
an official remake of a Telugu movie Kick which was released in 2009.
The film features Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda
in the lead roles and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, portraying the main
antagonist of the film. The screenplay was adapted by Nadiadwala and
Chetan Bhagat. The film released on 25 July 2014 in about 5,000 screens worldwide.
 
 
<story>
Dr. Shaina Mehra is a psychiatrist living in Warsaw, Poland. Her
father, Brijesh Mehra brings a marriage proposal and asks her to meet
Himanshu Tyagi. Himanshu and Shaina meet in a train, where Shaina
reveals that she had an ex-boyfriend, Devi Lal Singh, and talks about
her experiences with him.
 
Devi is an intelligent but adventurous who is always looking for a
"kick" in his life. When Shaina meets Devi, she is trying to help her
friend Vidhi elope with her lover who is Devi's friend. Devi gets them
married in a temple, but also helps her mother follow them and reach
the temple for "kick". Shaina meets Devi's father, Lal Singh, and his
mother. Devi and Shaina date and fall in love. On Shaina's suggestion,
Devi accepts a job in a chemical lab, but resigns in a few days
suffering from the lack of "kick." Shaina scolds him and Devi breaks
up with her and moves away.

Himanshu, who is a police officer, shares his experiences with a thief
he hates, because he can't stop him. The robber, called "Devil,"
targets the rich people associated with Shiv Gajra, a corrupt
businessman, and robs them. The robber is none other than Devi. When
Himanshu is unsuccessful in catching Devil, Devi contacts Himanshu and
refers to him as a partner and insults calls him a loser.
 
Shaina spots Devi in Poland who has come there for treatment after
losing his memory in an accident. Shaina offers to handle Devi's case
and take him home. Devi is acting about his memory loss, his real plan
is to befriend and fool Himanshu and rob Shiv, who will be coming to
Poland. Devi enters a charity function and robs Shiv, but Himanshu and
Shaina discover Devi's true identity and Devi escapes. Himanshu spots
Devi and warns him he will be killed, but Devi says that he will rob a
huge party fund on 14 November. Devi dares Himanshu to kill him on the
14th, otherwise Devi will be standing in front of him on 15 November,
and he won't be able to do anything.

In a flashback, Devi's true intentions and good deeds are revealed by
 Devi's father. He tells Shaina that his son is committing robberies to
help poor children who are suffering from diseases. Devi saved a girl
named Jhumki after reading a letter in the hands of her dead parents.
When a doctor tells him that several children are suffering from
diseases, he saves them by robbing to get money for their treatments,
knowing that it will give a lot of "kick." On 14 November, after
fighting Shiv's henchmen, Devi kills Shiv. Himanshu is set up with
officers to shoot Devi, but kids block his shot. 14 November is
Children's Day, and the sick children are going to pray for Devi and
Himanshu realizes the robberies were for the kids.
 
On 15 November, Devi joins the police force to catch Devil. He arrives
at the police station and stands in front of Himanshu, who is unable
to do anything about the situation, therefore completing his
challenge. Himanshu is taken off the case and it is given to Devi, who
is now a police officer. Devi then thanks Himanshu, saying that he was
never against him, but he is against the corrupt system.

Total Siyapaa (English translation: Total Chaos) is a 2014 Indian romantic comedy film directed by E. Nivas and written by Neeraj Pandey. The screenplay is based on the Spanish-Argentine movie Only Human (Spanish title: Seres queridos), written and directed by Dominic Harari and Teresa Pelegri. The main characters in the original movie were Israeli and Palestinian while in Total Siyapa a they are Indian and Pakistani. 
It was distributed by Reliance Big Entertainment across 850 theatres in India with two other films: <a href="http://google.com/search?q=Gulaab+Gang&sitesearch=moviezup2date.blogspot.com">Gulaab Gang</a> and <a href="http://google.co.in/search?q=Queen&sitesearch=moviezup2date.blogspot.com">Queen</a>. The film opened on a similar note with Queen in multiplexes offering stiff competition to each other owing to a similar release count. 
 
The film stars Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam in lead roles with Anupam Kher and Kiron Kher in supporting roles—who appeared for the first time as an on-screen couple. The first look of the film along with that of Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty was launched on the Zee Cine Awards. 
 
Gada-owned Pen India acquired the film rights from Reliance Entertainment while & Pictures acquired 50 per cent equity of the satellite rights. Reliance and Zee Network own the film's overseas and promotional rights respectively. Consequently, Reliance and Gada decided to postpone the release date to 7 March 2014 from 30 January 2014 to promote it. Upon release, Total Siyapaa received generally negative reviews from critics but became a box office hit. 
 
 
<h3>Music</h3> 
The album is sung and composed by Ali Zafar: the main lead of the movie. Music was released on 14 February 2014 and was well received by Critics. Karthik writes "The title song Total Siyaapa along with the quirky lyrics, dialogues and sounds, is good fun. Ali Zafar fares really well in Palat Meri jaan, singing, writing and composing the lovely ballad. Palat Meri Jaan is a Chart buster. Nahi maloom has a captivating Middle-Eastern + Latino blend sound and is sung particularly well by Ali and Fariha Parvaiz. The composer-singer uses a reggae template in Asha and delivers a nice, winsome song. Chal buleya is sufi song with a message. Barring that minor misstep, charming soundtrack overall, with Ali offering a good demonstration of his multi-facetedness." All music composed by Ali Zafar.

Jai Ho is a 2014 Indian action drama film.

Jai Ho' s worldwide distribution rights were 
sold for ₹ 110 crore (US$16 million as of January 2016), while its satellite rights
