Padman is an upcoming 2018 Indian Hindi comedy-drama film featuring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Amitabh Bachchan will appear in a special role. The film is inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham.Initially set to release on January 25, the film is now scheduled to be released on February 9, 2018.

Filming
The shooting of the film started in March 2017. Principal photography of the film started in Delhi in April 2017.
